Kingston Bee-Line
Pollinator Pathway + Public Art
Welcome to the Kingston Bee-Line—our vibrant and beautiful initiative weaving together pollinator gardens, sculptural bee habitats, and community-led art across Kingston, NY. This growing network is more than a series of gardens; it’s a vision for an ecological corridor that supports pollinators and inspires connection through creativity and care for the environment.
At the heart of the Bee-Line is The Pollinator Sanctuary, our first site, located across from JFK Elementary School in the historic Rondout neighborhood and adjacent to the Kingston Greenline. Designed as a living classroom and a haven for pollinators, the Sanctuary offers beauty, biodiversity, —and it's just the beginning.
Explore our map to see where we’ve started and where we’re headed, with future Bee-Line sites planned across Kingston and linking into rail trails and regional pollinator pathways throughout New York and beyond.

Together, we can transform public spaces into vibrant, living landscapes—connecting people, art, and pollinators every step of the way.
Bee Habitat Sculptures
Our bee habitat sculptures are public art for people and native wild bees! The sustainable hexagon sculptures house native, solitary bee nesting materials, providing a safe and healthy way for wild bees to nurture their young and offering humans an accessible means to observe these vital pollinators. Our decorative grills on the front of the sculptures, featuring organic and beautiful patterns, attract native bees and humans alike and protect the baby bees while they develop.
